Hello to the world!
I should rather say "Hi Mom!" as she is probably the only one who is reading this, considering that its my very first entry on my very first blog.
But back to blogging.
I wanted to create this blog so that I can share my 2 cents worth about the best places in Cape Town to eat and enjoy every kind of baked good imaginable. One small problem, I'm in New York. Well only until May. So until I return to the motherland, I thought I'd practice my cake reviewing and blogging skills by seeking out some authentic New York cupcakes. Just my luck, it appears that New York is mildly obsessed with cupcakes. Most surprising of all, these sweet obsessions can be obtained through mail order. Yes, Americans can get their cupcakes in the mail. Can you just imagine the South African Postal Service trying to cope with boxes of fresh sticky cupcakes?? At the very least they would arrive with a few bites missing.
So watch this space, New York cupcakes are to appear here soon.
